About us

OWLS is an award winning community support group for women that have or are going through domestic abuse.

The group was set up by three women that met in a local refuge and thought that support was still needed once they had left.

OWLS is run by dedicated volunteers who have personally experienced domestic abuse and understand the challenges that come with it. We are here to stand beside you, offering the help, guidance, and support you deserve.
You are not alone—we will fight for you, advocate for you, and ensure you have access to the resources that can help you move forward. OWLS is more than a support group; it’s a community that believes in your strength and is committed to helping you rebuild with care and understanding.
